How it all began
As luck would have it, we met on an app, and after a refreshingly earnest and nerdy exchange about the books we were reading, we decided to go on a date. Enticed after an evening at a Silver Lake wine bar, we upped the ante and met next in Ojai, where we embarked on a grueling 12-mile hike in 90-degree heat up a winding valley to a remote waterfall. To lift our spirits, Kalli sang Greek folk songs, and Liam responded with Buddhist chants, and we each sensed that we’d found the adventurous, soulful, and whacky companion we’d been looking for. Kalli ended up losing a couple of toenails from the hike, but we both gained a life partner!
And the rest is history
Now we’re a family of three!
In March of 2024, we welcomed our daughter, Cedar Georgia McAuliffe, and we couldn’t be more enchanted.
