We’ve organized a private group class for guests who are eager to learn some Greek dances like the Ikariotikos, the traditional dance of the island. Learn the simple steps from a local instructor so you can join the reverie when the music calls.

**Bring your bathing suit and towel just in case you want to lounge at the nearby beach at Nas!

VILLAGE FESTIVAL

Christos in Rahes

Early Afternoon - 9:00 AM ;)

A legendary panagiri (festival) in the village of Chistos in Rahes. Feast on herbed goat and local wine, then heartily link arms and dance the night away from dusk ’til dawn in this blending of pagan traditions with modern saint worship. Mayday wreaths are set alight and partygoers leap over the flames in a symbolic act of cleansing the body and spirit.

Those dance lessons will come in handy!
